1. Students will be able to follow a three-step classroom instruction (e.g. “Take your card, find your partner, describe your room.”) with minimal teacher support.
2. Students will produce 3–5 sentences about their own or a partner’s home/room using there is/are, prepositions of place and furniture vocabulary.
3. Students will explain one way to keep a public place clean and connect it to the value “Taza Qazaqstan”.

Timer: 2 minutes.

Teacher says: “Look at the screen. You see 6 pictures of rooms (kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, hall, dining room). I will say a word – you point to the correct picture and shout the word. Ready? Let’s go!”

Script: “Washbasin!” (students point to bathroom) – “Sofa!” (living room) – “Cooker!” (kitchen) – “Pillows!” (bedroom) – “Mirror!” (bathroom/hall) – “Stairs!” (hall).

After game: “Well done! Today we talk about homes and also about keeping our public places clean – like Taza Qazaqstan.”

• Students stand up, look at the screen.
• Point to the correct room picture and say the word aloud.
• Most students respond within 2 seconds.

• Points to the correct room for at least 4 out of 6 cues.
• Repeats vocabulary with clear pronunciation.
• Participates actively (hand up / voice).
