Scenario: Teacher displays two pictures on the board: a typical Kazakh yurt and a modern city apartment. Teacher asks: “If you had to move to another country for one year, which home would you miss more — this yurt or this apartment? Tell your neighbour.” After 1 minute, teacher asks 2-3 students to share. Teacher script: “Look at these two homes. In a moment, I’ll ask you to predict: which of them makes people feel ‘home is where the heart is’? Show me by raising your hand — Yurt or Apartment? … Now, let’s see why the singer in our song says home is always best. What do you think the song will say?” Teacher plays the song “Home is where the heart is” (1st verse only). |
