Let’s share. Pair 1, name one landmark.” (elicit 4-5 landmarks). “Great! Today we will explore London deeper and connect it to our own values. Look at the screen: I’ll show 6 pictures (Big Ben, Tower Bridge, London Eye, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, Kazakh flag with Bayterek). In 30 seconds discuss with your partner: which of these represent independence or patriotism?” (teacher listens, then says): “We’ll return to these ideas later.” |
