| Начало урока (5 мин) Вызов (сторителлинг) |
"Good morning, everyone! Last lesson we talked about wedding traditions in Kazakhstan and used adjectives with suffixes like -ing, -ful, -less. Today, I want to tell you a short story about a very well-known and fast-running tradition from another culture. It was a heart-breaking moment when the newly-married couple had to participate in a never-ending race. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying and the guests were more excited than ever before." Пауза. "Now, your task is to find the 'trigger' or the inaccuracy in my story. What seems odd or incorrect here? Discuss with your desk mate for one minute." После обсуждения: "So, what did you find? Yes, the tradition itself is made up – there isn't really a 'never-ending race' at weddings. But more importantly, look at the words I used to describe it: well-known, fast-running, heart-breaking, newly-married, never-ending, absolutely electrifying, more excited. These are not simple adjectives like 'beautiful' or 'happy'. What makes them special? Today we will learn about these powerful types of adjectives: compound adjectives, participles, and intensifiers."
