1. Revise and consolidate vocabulary from Units 1–3 (environment, entertainment, appearance & character, holidays) and present/past tenses.
2. Use target vocabulary and grammar structures in pair discussion and independent writing with 70%+ accuracy.
3. Reflect on personal progress and set a learning goal for the term.

Step 1: Greet the class. “Good morning, Grade 7! Let’s start with a quick vote. Raise your hand if you have ever read a book or watched a film about a natural disaster.” (wait 5 sec)

Step 2: “Now look at this list on the screen: drought, thunderstorm, dust storm, hurricane, flood, heatwave. Which one do you think is the most dangerous? Vote by standing up / sitting down. I’ll count.”

Step 3: Brief debrief: “Interesting! Most of you chose hurricane. Why? (elicit 2 reasons). Great — today we’ll revise words about nature, entertainment and people. Ready?”

Teacher script: “Thank you. Keep energy high.”
