| Lesson opening (5 min) Engagement (Real-life news hook) |
Teacher: "Good morning, class! I have some exciting news. A famous movie director just announced a new fantasy film called 'The Realm of Wonders'. They need our help to describe the characters! Look at these three concept images on the board. Here is a dragon, a fairy, and a giant. Which one looks strong? Which one looks magical? Now, I want you to talk with your partner for one minute: Predict – if the dragon is strong and the giant is also strong, how could we compare them? Who could be the strongest creature in this fantasy world and why?"
Circulates, listens to predictions. After 1 min, asks 2-3 pairs to share. |
Students observe the images. They discuss in pairs, making predictions using adjectives they know (strong, big, magical, fast). They might say: "The giant is stronger than the dragon," or "Maybe a titan is the strongest." | Descriptors:
