Show three pictures: a kind man, a greedy farmer, a bag of coins. Ask: ‘What story do you think we will read?’ Let students guess. Teacher continues: “Today we read about Aldar Kosse and a greedy farmer. Look at the pictionary on the board – words like greedy, farmer, clever, coins, field.” Differentiation: For SEN students, provide a mini-pictionary card with pictures and words. |
Students listen to the riddle, raise hands to guess. They look at pictures and share ideas. They repeat new words from the pictionary chorally. |
