Can you find it?” Story: “Once upon a time, a little cat named Tom woke up. He said: ‘Good morning, Sun!’ Then he met his friend Dog. He said: ‘Goodbye, Dog!’ (pause) But wait — is that right? When you meet a friend, do you say ‘Goodbye’? No! You say ‘Hello’ or ‘Hi’! So the mistake is…?” Teacher invites 2-3 students to correct the mistake. Praise: “Great! You are very smart!” Then teacher models: “My name is Ms. Kamzina. What is your name?” (turns to a student). |
