Why is this funny? How is it connected to our lesson topic ‘Physical Education and Sport’?” Allow 3-4 short answers. Then say: “Today we will explore unusual races from around the world and also talk about sports in Kazakhstan. You will listen, read, and give feedback to each other. Ready?” |
Students look at the meme, laugh, and volunteer ideas. Possible responses: “It’s a snail race!”, “It’s funny because snails are slow.”, “It’s still a sport because it’s a competition.” They listen to the teacher’s introduction. |
