Ready? “This morning I woke up, took my bag, put on my clothes, grabbed my bus pass and my phone. I walked to the bus stop, showed the driver my library card (that’s the mistake! we use a bus pass, not a library card) and sat down. At school I put my water bottle on the desk.” After students spot the mistake, discuss: Why is it important to use the correct object for the right situation? (Link to rules – Law and order). |
