КСП «Reading. What are you into» по английскому языку, 6 класс

1. Students will be able to extract specific details from a short text about hobbies and interests (e.g., favourite activities, frequency).
2. Students will be able to ask and answer 2–3 simple information questions about hobbies using Present Simple.
3. Students will work collaboratively in groups to produce a short paragraph describing group members’ interests, demonstrating respect and unity.

Teacher: “Good morning, Grade 6! Look at this picture on the screen.” (shows a funny image: a cat wearing headphones, a book, a football, and a paintbrush around it, with text “My hobbies: yes.”)

Teacher asks: “Why is this about us? What does it tell about our class?” (wait for ideas). “Today we talk about what we are into — hobbies, interests. And we will read about other kids’ hobbies.”

Teacher writes on board: “What are you into?” and explains it means “What do you like / what are your interests?”

• Students look at the image, laugh, and raise hands to share ideas.
• Possible responses: “It’s about hobbies”, “We all like different things”, “The cat is into music and sport.”
• Students repeat the phrase “What are you into?” and answer with one word (e.g., football, drawing).
