In pairs (12 students → 6 pairs) write down as many English words as you can that describe these places. You have 90 seconds. Timer starts now!” After timer: “Excellent! Pair number 3, read your words aloud. Did anyone have ‘picturesque’ or ‘tree-lined’? Great! Today we will explore two different neighbourhoods and then write about our own. Let’s begin.” |
Students work in pairs (6 pairs). - Look at pictures (modern town, ancient walls, cosy street). - Brainstorm and write words (e.g., modern, old, bridge, tower, park, shop). - Share with class. |
