1. Alphabet routine (2 min): “Good morning, everyone! Let’s sing the ABC song from Aa to Hh. Then we meet four new letters: Ii, Jj, Kk, Ll. Look at the flashcard: Ii – /ɪ/ – igloo, Jj – /dʒ/ – jam, Kk – /k/ – kite, Ll – /l/ – lion. Repeat after me.” Show each letter card and a picture. 2. Real‑life hook (2 min): “Today we are explorers! I have a bag of school things. I will show you one object (a pen) and ask What’s this? Then I show many objects (pens) and ask What are these? Let’s predict: how do we answer?” 3. State the goal (1 min): “By the end of the lesson you will ask and answer about school things like a champion.” |
