1. Greeting and setting the context (1 min): "Good morning, grade 5! Today we talk about seasons and weather. Look at the board – what do you see?" (Show a picture with four seasons).

2. Mind map (3 min): "Take a piece of paper. Draw a circle in the middle and write 'SEASONS'. Around it write everything that comes to your mind about seasons and weather – words, feelings, colours. You have 1 minute. Go!" (Timer). "Now let’s share: each of you says one word. I’ll pick three that you liked most – for example, 'snow', 'sun', 'rain' – and we discuss: What do you like about these? What rules do we follow when it rains or snows?" (Discuss 1-2 min).

3. Transition to topic: "Great! Now we will learn to understand short texts about weather and be safe in any weather."
