Write down as many comparative adverbs as you can – regular (quickly → more quickly) AND irregular (well → better, badly → worse). Ready? Timer starts NOW!” (use phone timer / online timer). After 90 sec: “Stop! Pair up, compare your lists. Add any new adverbs you see. I will call three students to read their top three adverbs.” Script: “Aigerim, your list? … Great! ‘more carefully, better, worse.’ Now, why do we need comparative adverbs? Today we will use them while reading about shark attacks.” |
