My grandmother has lived in Almaty since 1995." Teacher: "Which sentence has a mistake? Think! (Wait 10s) Yes – 'since many years' is wrong because 'many years' is a period, so we need 'for many years'. Also 'for 2010' is wrong – we need 'since 2010'." Teacher: "Now, in pairs (7 pairs + 1 trio) tell your partner one true sentence about your family using Present Perfect + for/since. You have 1 minute."
