Lesson opening (5 min)
Engagement (Provocative question & voting)
Teacher: "Good morning! Let's start with a quick question. Imagine you are lost in a forest. You need help. Which sentence feels correct to you? A) 'I need to find somebody to help me.' B) 'I need to find nobody to help me.' Please, show me your fingers: one finger for A, two for B." (Waits for response). "Interesting! Most of you chose A. Why? Because in positive statements or when we expect a 'yes' answer, we often use 'some' and its forms. Today, we will master these small but powerful words: some, any, no, every and their compounds, and use them to talk about our planet." Students vote by showing fingers. They listen to the teacher's brief explanation and connect the example to the lesson topic. Descriptors: Student participates in voting and listens attentively.
Note: No points.
Whiteboard/Projector, AI Tool: Mentimeter or Google Forms for instant anonymous voting and visualization of results.
