| Lesson opening (5 min) Engagement – provocative question + voting |
Teacher says: “Imagine you are the head of a school safety committee. Which adjective describes your school better: ‘safe’ or ‘dangerous’? Quick vote – raise your left hand for SAFE, right hand for DANGEROUS.” After voting (approx. 30 sec): “Interesting – most of you chose ‘safe’. But what makes a school really safe? Let’s list three adjectives that describe a safe school: clean, orderly, respectful. Today we will use adjectives to talk about law and order, rules and safety. We’ll also ask AI to help us improve our sentences.” Debrief (1 min): “Adjectives help us describe the world and follow rules – for example, ‘a clear rule’, ‘a fair law’. Let’s start.” |
