Option B: An exciting adventure in the mountains. Show me your hands for A or B. Quick, no thinking too much!" (Teacher counts hands for each option.) "Interesting! So, we have [number] for the beach and [number] for the mountains. Now, talk to your neighbor for 1 minute. Try to convince them why your choice is better. Use one sentence, like 'The beach is better because you can swim.'" Debrief: "Who heard a good reason from their partner? [Calls on 2-3 students]. Great. Today we're talking about holidays, and we'll see that people like different things, and that's okay. Our value today is unity and solidarity – working together even when we have different ideas." |
