Think for 30 seconds, then share with your neighbour." After pair discussion: "Who wants to share their or their partner's idea? Sasha? A device to automatically do homework? Interesting! Aliya? A translator for pet thoughts? Creative!" Link: "All these ideas show the 'gift of the grab' – the ability to see a need and create a solution. Today, we'll analyse if modern inventions are truly solving problems or just creating new ones." |
Students think individually, then discuss their invention ideas in pairs (1-2 min). Volunteers share ideas with the whole class.
