| Lesson opening (5 min) Engagement (storytelling + mistake) |
Teacher says: “Listen to a short story about the dombra. I will make ONE deliberate mistake – a wrong fact. Raise your hand when you spot it.” Story (teacher reads): “For more than four thousand years, the dombra has been a favourite instrument. According to a legend, a younger brother loved playing the dombra so much that he ignored his older brother. One day the older brother smashed the dombra against a rock. The imprint remained, and later people used it to rebuild the dombra. Mistake: ‘The dombra has three strings.’ (real dombra has two strings).” After spotting, praise and confirm correct fact. |
|
Descriptors only (no points): • spots the mistake and corrects fact • shows active listening • participates in brief discussion |
Whiteboard / projector (slide with dombra image), scripted story. |
