Teacher's script:

"Good morning, everyone! Look at the screen — this is a photo of the coldest inhabited place on Earth: Oymyakon, Russia. It reaches -50°C. Please, in pairs, think of three adjectives to describe this place. You have 1 minute."

After pair discussion, elicit answers (e.g., cold, dangerous, quiet, beautiful, icy, extreme). Write them on the board.

"Now, let's predict: do you think it is easy or difficult to live here? Give me one reason. Today we will learn how to use adjectives to describe our world clearly and accurately."

Ask 2-3 students to share their predictions.

• Look at the photo, discuss adjectives with a partner.
• Predict whether life is easy or difficult there and justify briefly.
• Volunteer to share their answer with the class.
