In 1 minute, write down or draw any words or ideas you connect with these words. Ready? Go!" (Starts timer). After 1 min: "Time's up. [Student A], you wrote 'magic'. Why? [Student B], you drew a house. Can you explain? [Student C], your word is 'greed'. What made you think of that?" Listens, praises, and connects to the topic: "Excellent ideas! These words are all from a famous fairy tale, 'The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish'. We will read it to understand the story and learn about fairness." | Students quickly create a mind map in their notebooks, associating words/images with the prompts. They share their ideas with the class, explaining their thoughts briefly. | Provide a pre-drawn mind map template with some images (fish, house, angry face) and words as prompts to choose from or circle.
