• Goal 1 (comprehension & speaking): By the end of the lesson, students will be able to identify and describe at least 3 personality traits connected to specific hobbies, using evidence from short non-fiction texts and audio (justify with examples).
• Goal 2 (functional literacy & creativity): Students will apply critical thinking to analyse real-life case studies (hobby–personality match) and collaboratively produce a mini role-play/presentation, demonstrating fairness and responsibility in group decisions.
• Goal 3 (reflection and responsibility): Students will self-assess their contribution to group work using 'fairness and responsibility' criteria, and set one personal goal for future collaboration.

“Good morning, everyone! Let’s start with a puzzle. I’ll read a short description of a person’s hobby and personality. Guess the hobby from the clues.”

Teacher reads: “I am patient and careful. I enjoy spending hours alone with tiny pieces, and I feel proud when a 1000-piece picture is complete. I often listen to audiobooks while doing this. What's my hobby?”

Students guess (jigsaw puzzles). Then teacher shows three images (chess, painting, hiking) and asks: “What personality traits are often linked to these hobbies? Give one example.”

Teacher script for dialogue: “Why might a detail-oriented person like jigsaw puzzles? What does hiking tell us about someone?” Encourage 2-3 hypotheses.

• Listen and guess the riddle.
• Make hypotheses about hobby–personality connection (whole class/share with partner).
• Respond with examples: "A chess player is strategic", "A painter is creative".

• Participates in guessing and gives at least one logical hypothesis.
• Uses tentative language (might, could, probably).
• Shows curiosity.
