Teacher: “Good morning, everyone! Look at the board. In the centre you see the word HOBBIES. In 1 minute, write or draw as many associations as you can. Go!” (timer 60 sec). After 1 min: “Great! Let’s hear three associations. I’ll pick three volunteers. (calls names) – what did you write?” Possible responses: football, relax, friends, stress, fun, reading, painting. Teacher writes them on the board and briefly discusses: “Why is ‘stress’ connected to hobbies? Who agrees?” Dialogue: “Today we’ll explore benefits of hobbies and then do a quiz and a short summative assessment. Ready?” |
All 8 students participate – individual then whole group. |
