1. Vocabulary goal: Learners will identify and name 8–10 rooms & furniture items (bedroom, kitchen, sofa, cooker, sink, mirror, stairs, etc.) with correct pronunciation.
2. Reading & speaking goal: Learners will read a short text about unusual buildings (violin building, piano-shaped house) and produce 2–3 sentences describing a room or a building using there is/are and basic prepositions.
3. Interaction goal: Learners will follow teacher instructions, answer simple questions, and exchange one piece of information about their home or a fantasy room in pairs/groups.

Greeting & warm-up: “Hello, grade 4! Let’s imagine… What if your house could fly or look like a giant fruit? What would it be?”

Teacher shows 2–3 colourful images (a house shaped like a shoe, a violin building, a piano-shaped house). “Look! These are real buildings. Today we learn rooms, furniture, and read about unusual buildings.”

What if…? “What if you had a bedroom inside a giant shoe? What furniture would you put there?”

Collect 3–4 ideas from students. Use sentence frame: “In my shoe bedroom there is a …”

• Look at pictures, listen, raise hands to answer.
• Respond to ‘What if…?’: e.g. “a soft bed”, “a small sofa”, “a mirror”.
• Repeat key words after teacher: bedroom, kitchen, sofa, cooker.
