Teacher: “Good morning, class! Let’s imagine: What if your home had no rooms – just one big space? Where would you sleep? Where would you eat? Where would you put your toys?”

Teacher listens to 3–4 ideas and writes key words (kitchen, bedroom, here, there). Then shows a picture of a house with labelled rooms (p.80).

“Today we will learn to say where things are in our home. Repeat after me: here, there, in, on, under, next to.”

• Students raise hands and answer the “What if …?” question (e.g., “I sleep in the corner”, “eat in the kitchen”).
