1. By the end of the lesson, all students will be able to recognise and name at least 6 objects in a house/room (bed, table, chair, lamp, door, window) with visual support.
2. Most students will be able to respond to simple questions (e.g., “Where is the lamp?”) using basic prepositions of place (in, on, under, next to) and determiners a/an/the.
3. Some students will be able to describe a room using 3-4 sentences, using prepositions and determiners, and show curiosity by asking one question about a partner’s room.

Teacher says: “Hello, Grade 3! Look at this picture (shows a room with a bed, lamp, ball under the chair). What do you see? What is your favourite object in your room? I’ll show you three pictures – vote by raising 1, 2 or 3 fingers.”

Quick vote: “Which room is cosiest? 1 – bedroom, 2 – living room, 3 – kitchen.” Count show of hands. Debrief: “Many of you like bedroom. Why? Because we have soft beds and toys. Today we learn words for objects in our house and where they are.”
