Share your ideas in pairs for 1 minute, then I’ll ask 3-4 students to share." (Write the prompt on the board.) Possible student responses: "A Unity Festival with food from every culture", "A Day of Silence and Listening", "A global sports competition", "A storytelling night". Teacher moves around, listens, encourages. After sharing, says: "Great ideas! Today we will revise how to describe such scenes using precise noun modifiers and determiners, and we will read about real examples of unity." |
