Teacher says: “Good morning, scientists! Imagine that tomorrow we wake up and find out that a scientist has created a material that can absorb 100% of pollution from the air. What if this breakthrough were possible? How would our city change? What words come to mind? Think for 30 seconds, then we share.” Teacher listens, writes spontaneous vocabulary on the board: innovation, discovery, breakthrough, sustainable, experiment, laboratory, patent, prototype, renewable, catalyst. Teacher asks: “Which of these words do you already know? Which are new for you? We’ll use them today.” For 4 students: whole-class discussion, each student gives at least one association. |
