Teacher: "Good morning! Today, we dive into the grammar that gives our imagination wings. We'll start with a 3-minute challenge. I will show you a simple sentence about creativity. Your task is to add one piece of extra information to it using a word like 'who', 'which', or 'where'. For example: 'I read a book.' -> 'I read a book which was full of magical creatures.' Ready? Timer starts now! First sentence: 'We visited a museum.'"

Teacher shows sentences on the board, encourages speed, and provides immediate verbal feedback ("Great addition!", "Perfect use of 'where'!").
Students listen to the instruction. Volunteers or called-upon students quickly expand the given sentences orally.

Possible responses:
  • "We visited a museum where they had futuristic art."
  • "We visited a museum which inspired my project."
Students who are not speaking actively listen and mentally formulate their own clauses.
Descriptors:
  • The student attempts to expand the sentence.
  • The added clause is contextually relevant to the topic.
  • The relative pronoun (who, which, where) is used appropriately.
No points.
