• Students will be able to talk about their summer holidays using Past Simple and Present Perfect, describing activities, places and feelings in 5–7 sentences with at least 8 words from the topic.
• Students will be able to use holiday vocabulary and appropriate tenses in a pair dialogue, asking and answering at least 6 questions with correct pronunciation and grammar.
• Students will be able to produce a short creative product (a postcard, an essay, a photo captions, or a mini-dialogue) about their summer with 90% accuracy on a provided rubric.

Step 1. Greeting. “Good morning, everyone! Welcome back. Today we’ll talkabout your summer holidays. Let’s start with a quick question.”

Step 2. Provocative question. “Raise your hand: Was your summer the best summer ever? Choose one option: A — Yes, the BEST! B — It was okay. C — I wanted it to last forever!”

Step 3. Quick voting. “Let’s see by show of hands.”

Step 4. Debrief. “Interesting! Many of you said B. Why? What makes a summer ‘the best’? Let’s brainstorm a few words on the board.”

Step 5. Transition. “Today we’ll share our holidays using past tenses. Let’s warm up with some vocabulary.”
