In 60 seconds, write or draw all the words you associate with it. Ready? Go!" (Starts timer). After 1 minute: "Time's up! Let's share. [Calls on 3 different students]. What did you write, Alina? 'Forest'? Excellent. And you, Danial? 'River'? Great. And you, Aisulu? 'Beautiful'? A wonderful adjective. All these are parts of our world's geographical features – the topic of our lesson today." |
Students individually create a mind map on a sheet of paper or in their notebooks, writing words like ocean, tree, mountain, animal, sky, etc. Selected students share their words with the class. |
