1. Students will be able to use at least 6 adjectives (tall, short, kind, helpful, green, clean) to describe plants, people and families in spoken and written form with 80% accuracy.
2. Students will create a short descriptive text (4–6 sentences) about a family member or a plant using appropriate layout (title, body) and target adjectives.
3. Students will spell 8 high-frequency words (tall, short, kind, helpful, green, clean, strong, beautiful) correctly in a guided writing task.

Teacher: “Good morning! Look at this funny picture. (Show meme: a cactus with sunglasses, a smiling sunflower, a wilting plant with a tear.) What do you see? Why is this about us? Think for 20 seconds, then share with your partner.”

Pause, then invite 2–3 pairs. Possible answers: “The cactus looks tough, the sunflower is happy, the sad plant needs water.” Teacher connects: “We describe people and plants with adjectives! Today we’ll learn how to describe plants, people, and families — and also think about our clean environment.”

• Look at the meme, think individually.
• Share ideas with a partner (pair work).
• Volunteers give answers.
