The boy thought carefully and said 'I wish for all the candy in the world, I wish for no more homework ever, and I wish for a pet dragon!' The genie granted his wishes and everyone lived happily ever after. Now, I want you to think - did this character make good choices? Why or why not?"

Students listen to the story and identify the deliberate mistake (selfish wishes).
