| Lesson opening (5 min) Engagement – Riddle/brain-teaser |
Teacher script: “Good morning! Look at the slide – I’ll give you a riddle. ‘I have no legs, but I travel the world; I have no voice, but I tell stories; I can be a friend when you feel lonely. What am I?’ (Answer: a hobby / a book / a stamp collection…). Let students guess. “Today we explore hobbies. What hobbies do you know? What makes a hobby special? Write your ideas in your notebook (1 min). Then share with your neighbour.” Value integration: “We all have different hobbies – and that’s great. Respecting each other’s choices shows unity.” |
• Listen to the riddle, think, raise hands, give guesses (e.g. “a book”, “a game”, “a hobby”). • Write 2-3 hobbies in notebook. • Share with a partner; listen to partner’s ideas. |
Descriptors (no points): • Participates in guessing. • Writes at least one hobby. • Shares idea with partner. • Shows respect while listening. |
