She can read a fairy tale, a comic book, or news articles. Which one is a true story? Which one is imaginary? Turn to your partner and predict: What kind of story do you think she will enjoy most and why?" After 1 minute: "Who thinks she'll pick the fairy tale? Why?" (Takes 2-3 answers). "Today, we will learn the words for these different 'Types of literature' and read a famous fairy tale to see how creative stories can be." |
