Show a funny meme: a dog in a suit with the caption “When you finally decide your future career … but you still have to finish homework.” Ask: “Why is this about us? How many of you already know what you want to become?” Teacher prompts: “Look at the meme – what career does the dog represent? (a businessperson / office worker). Do you ever feel like that?” Elicit 3-4 responses, laugh together, then bridge: “Today we will explore careers and practise talking about our own future.” |
Students observe the meme, smile and react. Raise hands, share short ideas: “It’s funny because we all think about future but still have homework.” Some say what career they imagine; others listen. |
