| Lesson opening (5 min) Engagement (method: storytelling with a deliberate mistake) |
Teacher says: "Imagine a windy morning in our steppe. You are walking near school, and you see a golden field… but suddenly you notice something strange. I’ll tell you a short story — find the mistake!" Story: "Yesterday I walked along the steppe path. The air was fresh, birds sang. I saw a beautiful saiga antelope. People had left plastic bottles and cans, but they were carefully sorted: glass in one pile, paper in another. The steppe was clean because everyone reused everything." Deliberate mistake: "sorted glass and paper" contradicts the earlier description of litter — actually people left unsorted waste, and the steppe was NOT clean. Teacher asks: "What is wrong? Why is it a problem? How does it connect to Taza Qazaqstan?" Teacher elicits 2-3 ideas, writes on board: litter, separate waste, pollution, reuse, harm to nature. |
