Task 1. Listening Comprehension (5.L8) [4 points]
Listen to the story about a football match. You will hear it twice. Then answer the questions below.
(Note for the teacher: The audio script is provided at the end of the assessment for administration. The story is approximately 1 minute long, spoken clearly at a moderate pace.)
Audio Script (Teacher reads or plays): "Last Saturday, my school team had an important football match. It was against Green Hill School. The weather was sunny but windy. In the first half, our team played very well. Our striker, Tom, scored a fantastic goal from a free kick. We were winning 1-0. In the second half, the other team tried very hard. Their best player, Alex, ran very fast and scored a goal in the 55th minute. The score became 1-1. The match was very exciting. In the last minute, our goalkeeper, Sam, made an amazing save! The final score was 1-1. It was a draw, but we were happy because we played fairly and had fun."
