“A day in the life of a supermarket cashier”
Every morning at 6:30 a.m. Amina puts on her uniform and walks to the supermarket. She works at the checkout. She scans items, greets customers, and packs bags. “I like talking to people,” she says. “But sometimes it is very busy. We work as a team. The manager helps us, and the stock clerks bring new goods.” Amina thinks that every worker in the shop is important – from the cleaner to the cashier.
