Last summer, my family and I went to Almaty for a week. We travelled by train from Nur-Sultan. The journey was long but very interesting. We saw beautiful steppes and mountains from the window. In Almaty, we visited the Medeu skating rink and the Kok-Tobe hill. We took a cable car to the top of Kok-Tobe. The view was amazing! We also tried traditional Kazakh food like beshbarmak and baursaks. The weather was sunny and warm. We stayed in a small hotel near the city centre. I bought some souvenirs for my friends. It was the best holiday ever!
