What is a Question Tag?
A question tag is a short question at the end of a statement. We use it to check information or ask for agreement. The rule is simple:
- If the main statement is positive, the tag is negative.
Example: You are a student, aren't you? - If the main statement is negative, the tag is positive.
Example: She isn't here, is she?
