Tom didn't like rainy days. He found them boring. But last Saturday, the rain was so heavy that he couldn't go to the football match. So, he took an old book from his grandfather's shelf. It was an adventure story about pirates and a hidden treasure. Tom started reading. He forgot about the rain, the cancelled match, and everything else. When his mother called him for dinner, he was surprised. He had spent the whole afternoon in a different world.
