Extreme Hobbies in Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan offers many extreme hobbies for adventure lovers. Ice climbing in the Almaty region is very popular. Climbers use special gear: a harness, an ice axe, and a helmet. The risk level is high because of the cold and steep ice. Another exciting hobby is bungee jumping at the Shymbulak ski resort. Jumpers wear a strong harness and a helmet. The thrill is enormous! The altitude reaches 30 metres. Both activities require safety rules and respect for nature.
