Reading Text: "The Lost Expedition"
In 1921, a mysterious plateau was discovered in South America by Professor Challenger. The plateau was named "Maple White Land". The expedition was organized by a London newspaper. The team was led by Professor Summerlee. Many strange creatures were seen by the explorers. A camp was set up near a huge lake. One night, the camp was attacked by pterodactyls. Two tents were destroyed. Fortunately, no one was hurt. Later, a diary was found by Malone. It was written by Maple White himself. The secrets of the lost world were finally revealed.
