| In many families around the world, both parents work to support the household. The breadwinner is the person who earns the main income. However, in modern society, the roles are changing. Some women earn more than men, and men often share domestic chores. Children also have responsibilities: they may help with cleaning, cooking or looking after younger siblings. Equality in the family leads to a respectful atmosphere. Some people believe that children should not work at all, but others insist that chores teach them discipline. |
